This weekend I have been very busy, on Friday and Saturday I went to my local scout hut and spent the two days washing and cleaning it. The hut had not been washed for about five years they told me, and i was absolutely caked in mud! Luckily I had the help of six other scouts and their parents. We were exhausted after the first day, I had glossed the doors, washed and painted the hut. The adults were working in the kitchen and about half way through the first day, they found a squirrel burrow behind the sink, the whole kitchen was covered in grease and mold, disgusting! We'd worked so hard, that we got to go home early on the second day after painting the outside toilets. It was a lot of hard work, but well worth the £50 in the end! This weekend i am car washing, i have just had practice from washing mum's car. I am also collecting for a raffle in the near future, I am going to drop of my letters to the local shops tomorrow.
