Early mornings and weekends= hard work

Aha, that will be £1 for the ironing board cover thankyou!
Here I am keeping a watchful eye on the customers walking past.. or was I wondering why I was up at 6:30 a.m on a Sunday morning!!!
This Saturday, 15th May, I managed a table top sale at 4th Worth Scout Hut. I was up and ready by 9:10 a.m... in traing for Sunday's Car Boot Sale!
I sold many books. The most popular ones were Horrible Histories.

South of England Spring Show

Here we are smiling in the rain! Blisters on hands back aching and still waiting to find out how much we raised over the two days.

I am the one in the wheelbarrow!!!! A minute later Robyn tipped me out!

This was the real work. I lost count how many times I wheeled one of these full of plants to the car parks from the plant stalls.

I met many interesting people who were generous with their donations.

Here is Ben with the bucket full of lucky tombola tickets. Any ticket ending with a 0 wins a plant

Over two rainy cold days scouts worked together to raise funds for 2011 Jamboree.

Here some of us are promoting the plant tombola in the Abergavenny Barn. Business was great especially when it rained and the customers were sheltering indoors.

We had a chance to talk about our fundraising efforts and promote the Scout Association.
