Young leader

The cubs and i created a shelter.

I think we were creating spinners in this photo.
On our half term camp in 2010, i had a quick go at archery.

errr..... Well mixing explorers and a muddy campsite is NOT a good idea.

Just various scouting photos

At district camp last year, we made a bridge. I got to test run it first.

This was taken at the annual 4th worth group camp, in summer 2009. At this point on the camp, some ducks from the pond were after my bread!

This is the freezing camp i went to in early January 2010. The camp involved archery, rock climbing and of course sledging.
The highlight of the camp was going down a steep slope, with five other explorer scouts on a kayak. We stupidly decided to guide the kayak over the snow jump, resulting in all of us off the kayak and on the floor.

Duke of Edinburgh

Here i am on my bronze duke of Edinburgh. My bag was so heavy, as we had to carry our tent, food, trangia, first aid kit and spare clothes. We walked 15 miles, with our back packs. The route we took was through the south downs, we planned and prepared this ourselves.

Njimegen Marches

Here we are smiling on the first day of the marches. In summer 2009, i went of to Njimegen, Holland to participate in the annual marches.

Whilst in Holland we visited the war graves at the military cemetery in Njimegen. I think i was good to pay our respect to all the soldiers that lost their lives.

Gilwell 24

Here i am with Peter Duncan, the 9th chief scout.
I am here with Bear Grylls, the present cheif scout

At the opening ceremony, my friend Georgia and i got to dance on the stage in front of 2000 scouts.

Here i am just enjoying one of the many activities available at Gilwell 24.

See if you can spot me!

Gilwell 24 is a scouting event, held for 24 hours of non-stop activities. It was held in July 2009. I really enjoyed this event, especially meeting Bear Grylls, the chief scout. .

WS

Here I am on my first international camp, WS. I was a scout at 4th Worth Martlets at the time. In the first picture we are all standing outside the gate we created for our camp section in WS. WS was divided up into four sections, the section I camped in was called San Francisco.

Here we all are, outside the big ben clock tower, with our new exclusive ws scarves.
